Water cremation — also called aquamation, or scientifically, alkaline hydrolysis — is a gentle, flameless process. Instead of fire, your pet's body is softly returned to nature by warm water and minerals, the same way a body returns to the earth, just gently accelerated. Most pet parents prefer it once they learn about it: the ashes returned are a soft white rather than charred grey, there are typically about 20% more of them to bring home, and it's far kinder to the planet — using roughly 90% less energy than flame cremation, with no smoke or direct emissions. It's the only aftercare we offer, because we believe it's the gentlest option there is.

Yes — and it's a beautiful choice. Some families want to be with their pet until the very last moment, and to see the place where they'll be cared for.
